Week board
The week board has the am and pm indicator plus the seven days of the week every time the am and pm indicator goes to am the week day advances one place and a signal is sent to the date counter board.

Date logic 2 board
The Date logic 2 board displays the date of the month.

Date logic 1 board
The Date logic 1 board just has all of the logic diodes to select the date of the month.

Date board
The date counter board receives a pulse from the week board every time the day counter changes the resets detect when the end of the months have been reached and sends a pulse to the month board and resets the date to the 1st.

Month board
The month board receives a pulse from the date board every time the date board resets and advances the months counter one place when the counter resets on the 1st of january the month board sends a pulse to the year counter and the leap year counter boards.

Year board
The year board receives the pulse from the month board and advances the year counter one place and displays the last two digits of the year as a binary number this works up to the year 99 and then resets.

Leap Year board
The leap year board receives a pulse from the month board and advances the leap year counter one place the leap year board sends a signal to the month resets to set february to 28 or 29 days.
